My name is María and I am the founder and designer of mömo.

My eldest son was born with an ultra-rare disease and we were told he would not walk or talk. Babywearing was one of the first tools that helped us care for his postural development and support him through physical contact and bonding. That's where it all began. Today he is a completely healthy child. And we learned a great deal along the way.

When our second child was born, babywearing was again key. He suffered from very severe reflux and intense colic during his first year. Carrying him close, in an appropriate position, was once again the answer.

That's why mömo is born from real needs. From bodies that needed support, care, and respect. Not from an aesthetic quest, but from the urgency of doing things right.

And that's why our baby carriers are beautiful, yes, but above all, deeply functional.

Ergonomics was an obsession from the start. Protecting my children's postural and hip health became essential. I wanted to create a baby carrier that truly respected the baby's body at every stage. That's why we designed an evolutionary system that accompanies growth, guaranteeing the correct physiological position and real support from birth.
